Sheryl Magdycz

My name is Sheryl, and I was born and raised in a rural part of Western Massachusetts, where I grew up with parents who love to hunt and fish. I was always outside from a very young age, quickly falling in love with the woods and the water. Recently, I have become involved with various avenues of education, a lot of them specific to women and youth getting outdoors as well as advocating for the hunting and fishing community. I have fallen in love with mentoring and sharing the passion I have for these sports and watching others develop the same passions. I target whitetail deer, wild turkey, and pheasants in the Northeast and am interested in learning more about trapping. If you asked me to pick my favorite outdoor activity, I would, without hesitation, say ice fishing. I work full time in software development, and if I am not doing something outdoors, you might find me singing with my band, crocheting, reading, or baking something sweet!
