As I sit on a plane somewhere over the Carolinas, on my way home for a quick 24 hours before I’m back in the sky heading west, I can’t help but reflect on something that was asked of me recently: “Kim, are you dreaming big enough?”
It’s an interesting question, one that has stuck with me since it was asked. The truth is, I’ve been living in the clouds—literally and figuratively—since December 25th. The past few weeks have flown by in a blur of airports, hotel rooms, and city streets, as I’ve traveled across the United States, crisscrossing the country like never before. And honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing.
2025 has already given me more sky miles than I ever imagined, and by the time this year is over, I’ll have seen more places than I could’ve ever dreamed of. I’ve been home a total of four days since the start of the year, but you know what? I’m loving every minute of it. I’m truly living my dream.
I’ve always loved traveling. From the moment I could remember, experiencing new things and seeing new places felt like my calling. And now, I’m doing just that—traveling for work, attending trade shows, and meeting people along the way. It’s a dream come true.
Do I miss my girls? Of course! And do I wish they could join me on these trips? Absolutely! But the reality is, when I’m on the road, I’m there to do a job. I don’t often have the luxury of sightseeing or fully experiencing the cities I’m visiting. If I do get a minute to explore, I take it. But most of the time, it's all about the work, the connections, and the goals I’m there to achieve.
And let me tell you, the people I’ve met along the way have made this journey even more rewarding. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some incredible colleagues and team members, and I’ve had the honor of meeting many customers who are as passionate about their work as I am about mine. These connections are what make the grind worth it.
It’s funny. I think about that question again—“Kim, are you dreaming big enough?”—and the answer is yes. I am. I’m living the dream, even if it’s a little different than what I initially envisioned. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s my dream, and it’s happening one mile at a time.
So here’s to more miles, more memories, and more dreams coming true, even if they look a little different than I expected. The sky is the limit.
