They have stayed warm and dry walking through snow, mud, and single-digit windchill days. I bought the light brown boots, they came with two sets of laces – one white and one maroon (which I loved and immediately changed to). The only negative thing (and I’m being super picky now), the boot laces are flat. This is not a problem, but if you have had Zamberlans before, you know there is a lace-lock which only works with round laces. Overall, totally love them and would highly recommend!

I needed a pair of waterproof boots suitable for lots of walking in cold and wet weather. We have woods, brush, streams, damp areas from runoff, and very hilly terrain. I like pull-on, rather than lace-up, for ease of removal going into the house. These boots check all of those boxes. I especially like the locking strap closure at the top of the boot. It latches and releases easily and was snug around my pant leg. After my walk, I had brush in my coat pockets, but not in my boots!

These look great with my Sitka Elevated II gear and I was amazed at how dry and warm they keep my feet! I used these the first time for Spring Turkey hunting and it was still very cold out. My feet stayed dry from the water but my socks were wet from sweat so they work a little too well in the Spring, but they are absolutely perfect during the freezing winter hunt seasons. I have a non-insulated boot just like this that I have worn constantly on the farm and in the woods during warmer weather over the last two years. I was so pleased to find an insulated version. These are boots that will hold up, hug your feet and adjust to your calves. This version’s insulation works just as promised. I always bought cheaper versions that didn’t fit well or last long. My feet always hurt. Since I wear these a lot, it is well worth the money. Living in IL, the winters require the insulation and for the first time, I have it and am more than pleased. If the boots don’t fit comfortably when trying them on, try a different size because they aren’t going to stretch to your foot.

I work on a dairy farm and they keep my feet warm and dry. In the snow, just wear heavy socks as they do get a little cool on the toes. I where a shoe size 8 1/2 and I ordered 9 to allow for thicker socks so my toes don’t get too cold and they keep warm.
