Who I Am: A Passion for the Outdoors

Thirty-one years ago, my passion for the outdoors started with oversized jackets and camo bibs. This is who I am. This is why I hunt.

You hunt? This is what it’s like being a woman in the outdoors. Next time someone says, “YOU hunt?” My tip is this: Let it go.

If you knew how many times I’ve received a shocked look when I say I hunt. Can people really be that surprised when they hear that a woman hunts?
