Why do you hunt OR fish OR spend time outdoors?
I hunt and fish for the pure love of the outdoors! Nothing makes me feel more alive than being up close and personal with nature.
When was your first hunting memory, and how old were you?
I was 19 and went turkey hunting I made lots of mistakes that morning but learned so much!!
What do you love most about hunting and spending time outdoors?
Just being out there and watching it all take place. I’ve witnessed some of the most amazing things from a tree stand.
What’s your most memorable hunting experience?
In 2015, I took my late husband's ashes and shot a turkey with them. Fulfilling that wish deeply impacted my life!
Do you have a favorite wild game recipe?
Doesn’t get much better than pan-fried tenderloin! Simple but delicious.
Do you have a dream hunting excursion?
I would love to be able to take a deer with a recurve bow!
What would you say to other women who haven’t tried hunting spending time outdoors yet?
Get yourself out there! There are so many women’s groups and all are willing to mentor and teach you. There is just nothing better than being able to provide for yourself and your family
